Wates Group has announced fresh leadership at its facilities management business.

Jack Prady has been appointed as the new managing director of Wates’ facilities management (FM) division.
Prady has held leadership positions across the FM and built environment sectors for the past 18 years.
He will use that experience and expertise to drive the next phase of growth within the specialist division.
Prady said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Wates at a time when the business has so much opportunity ahead.
“My focus will be to harness that by continuing to develop the right culture to deliver an outstanding service and make a positive impact for our customers and communities.”
Complementing Prady’s appointment, Mark Wiles recently joined the FM team as business development and work-winning director, bringing FM experience gained via ISS, NG Bailey, Interserve, and Emcor.
After expanding its property services offer with the acquisition of Liberty in October 2024, the business now employs almost 3,000 people and reported turnover of £364 million for 2023, an increase of more than 50 per cent on 2022.
Wates’ Property Services business provides social housing maintenance alongside facilities management.
David Morgan, executive MD for Wates Property Services, said: “Jack and Mark both have incredible track records in developing strong customer relationships and delivering operational excellence, and this fits perfectly with our vision for growth in the future.”
