Cardo Group has announced the acquisition of HeatCare Oil and Gas Limited, an energy services provider in Scotland, for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 2000, HeatCare’s services include plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting, and refurbishment, alongside heating solutions and general property maintenance activities.
With operations in Aberdeen, Scotland, Cardo said the acquisition expands its geographical reach and capabilities to deliver energy-efficient solutions for social housing and public buildings.
“We are pleased to welcome directors Calum McCombie and Darren McLeod and the whole HeatCare team into the Cardo family,” said Cardo CEO, Liam Bevan.
“Their extensive expertise, combined with our existing strengths in M&E, renewables, and retrofit services, will further elevate our ability to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions.”
The HeatCare team will continue under the ongoing leadership of McCombie and McLeod.
McCombie said: “It has been a privilege for Darren and me to lead HeatCare and work alongside such a dedicated team, and we look forward to doing so well into the future.
“Our focus on delivering reliable and efficient heating solutions aligns perfectly with Cardo’s vision for energy- efficient systems.”
Housing maintenance specialist Cardo Group was formed when social housing contractor LCB Group was sold by its founder, Liam Bevan, now CEO of Cardo Group, to private equity firm Buckthorn Partners.
It was started to support social housing providers with compliance, retrofit, maintenance and decarbonisation services.
Last year, Cardo Group acquired building refurbishment and decorating specialist, A&N Lewis Limited.
It has also acquired the property maintenance division of construction solutions provider Osborne Group, and building maintenance specialist, Jefferies Contractors Limited.
