Construction waste management service SoilEx has announced it is opening its second office in the North of England.
The company’s Northern office complements its office in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and aims to provide greater accessibility for its clients nationwide.
The Northern team will be led by commercial managers Gareth Campion and Ricky Maxfield who previously worked at waste management firms Go Green and Ecofficiency, respectively.
SoilEx was formed in 2019 by managing director Alex Collman, who previously served as general manager at GRS Roadstone.
The firm delivers waste management and environmental services across the UK to the construction, civils, highways, and utilities sectors.
Collman said: “The opening of our second office near Doncaster is a major step forward for the SoilEx business.
“It will allow us to better serve our rapidly growing customer base, as well as develop new relationships from both the client and supplier perspective.
“I am delighted to have both Gareth Campion and Ricky Maxfield join us to grow the business from the new office, I know how excited they both are to be joining SoilEx at such a pivotal moment.
“With a further new colleague joining in early February, the launch of our ConnEx digital portal as well as the ExBox and ExBag sampling kits, it’s exciting times for the business and the brilliant team we have.”
In July 2023, SoilEx lost four almost new Volvo FMX tipper trucks in a dawn blaze, collectively costing the firm more than £500,000.
In the wake of the incident Collman praised his staff and customers for their resilience and support.
