Construction software experts, Causeway Technologies, has announced chief operating officer (COO), Paul Devlin, has been promoted to chief executive officer (CEO).
Devlin will take over from Causeway’s founder, Phil Brown, who becomes executive chairman.
In his new role, Devlin will lead the executive team and guide the day-to-day operations of a workforce of more than 500 employees.
Brown will support the leadership team to deliver on Causeway’s vision and strategy, with a focus on achieving a fully digitalised and connected construction industry.
“It is with huge pride that I become a first-time CEO,” said Devlin. “I am committed to working with the team to continue to grow this phenomenal company.
“As COO, I have seen firsthand – and share – the passion that has driven Causeway’s success for more than a quarter of a century.
“Phil has been the driving force behind the remarkable success story that is Causeway Technologies, and it is a great honour to be handed the baton by him.
“We will be working very closely in the future as I build on the impressive work that he has spearheaded.”

Causeway’s software solutions serve more than 200 local authorities, 600 engineering consultants, and more than 1,000 contractors in the UK, streamlining business processes.
