A commercial landscape and groundworks specialist headquartered in Glasgow is celebrating an annual revenue milestone which coincides with its 10-year anniversary.

M Squared managing director, Kerr McEwan.

M Squared just hit £10 million in annual turnover and is planning a series of strategic acquisitions to expand its UK footprint.

Since its inception, the business has increased annual revenue by 40 per cent on average and is now targeting £25 million by 2027 and employee growth of more than 125 staff.

The business has made key senior hires this year, including Patrick Geraghty, the new purchasing logistics manager.

M Squared was founded by managing director, Kerr McEwan,10 years ago and has since won several high-profile contracts.

Key examples include the regeneration of Wembley Park, a restoration project at Cameron House, an expansion and restoration of Motherwell train station, and the opening of Barclays’ Glasgow campus and River Clyde regeneration project.

“To consistently grow our revenue over the last 10 years is not only a fantastic achievement but testament to the incredibly talented team we have assembled,” said McEwan.

“I’m proud to have founded M Squared which now fills a crucial gap in the market for a service-agnostic construction business capable of adapting to the ever-changing market demands.

“With the business now well placed to significantly scale over the coming years, we are determined to achieve a minimum of 25 per cent annual growth rate as we continue to expand our unique offering throughout the UK.”
