Coventry-headquartered Deeley Construction has started work on a new multi-million-pound care home in Stafford.
When finished, the new Care UK home will provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for 76 older people, and will create more than 90 jobs in the community.
It will Include:
- A café
- Bar
- Cinema
- Hair salon.
- wheelchair-friendly landscaped outdoor space featuring:
- Sensory gardens
- Water features
- Seating
The home, which is expected to open in summer 2026.
The layout of the building will be configured into a series of individual suites, each having a dedicated lounge/dining room to help facilitate the creation of close-knit communities.
In February, Deeley Construction announced the appointment of two directors, Matthew Lynch and Chris Newman.
Martin Gallagher, managing director at Deeley Construction, said: “Construction is off to a great start and we’re on track to complete the work by summer 2026.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Care UK on their brand-new Stafford care home, bringing our expertise to the project.
“This is our first project with Care UK and we are proud to be involved with this important development for the community in Stafford.”
