STATOM Group Ltd has announced the start of White City Living phase four and five for developer Berkeley Group Plc.
Statom and tower crane hire specialist Trident Lifting Solutions are set to deliver the substructure, basement, superstructure and tower crane package for the project.
In December 2023, Essex-headquartered Statom acquired the crane hire specialist to enhance its foothold in the construction sector.
The project consists of five new buildings ranging from 21 to 33 storeys, as part of the larger White City Living regeneration scheme by Berkeley subsidiary St James.
The scheme, situated at an 11-acre warehousing brownfield site, will total 2,372 homes, including 612 affordable housing.
It will also feature:
- 50 per cent public open space, including a five-acre public park
- Retail and office space
The development aims to act as a Gateway to Imperial College London’s new 23-acre campus.
Based in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham near Westfield London, Europe’s largest shopping centre, White City Living is also within eight acres of parks and gardens, retail and entertainment.
Phase four and five will also feature more than 30 facilities and amenities including a private Mediterranean-style rooftop beach club.
This project adds to recent work begun by Statom for Berkeley Group with the next phase of work on Oval Village to transform former gasworks to provide 200 new modern homes.
In its latest financial results, Statom outlined a business expansion after reporting continued growth.
The Trident acquisition added £19 million in turnover to the groups’s £143.2 million turnover for the year ended 30 November 2023, a 27 per cent increase on the year prior with £7.3 million.
Statom Group said via social media: “We are extremely pleased to be continuing our journey with Berkeley Group Plc after successfully completing number of projects in the past few years.”
