Suppliers alerted to £3bn main contractor framework

The deadline is looming as suppliers are alerted to a £3 billion main contractor framework by housing association Hyde Group.

The housing association is seeking to set up a multiple source Framework Agreement under 7 Lots for Main Contractor Framework.

The value of the framework is £3 billion over a five year framework term and is intended to cover a wide range of main contractor services.

The work will include but is not limited to:

• Miscellaneous building structures
• Sewer mains
• Site preparation work
• Building demolition and wrecking work and earthmoving work
• House construction
• Leisure centre construction work

There will be a further option to extend the framework by 24 months, subject to requirements.

Lots

• Lot 1: Main Contractor Framework – East under £20 Million: Value excluding VAT: £225 million
• Lot 2: Main Contractor Framework – East above £20 Million: Value excluding VAT: £325 million
• Lot 3: Main Contractor Framework – South under £20 Million: Value excluding VAT: £225 million
• Lot 4: Main Contractor Framework – South above £20 Million: Value excluding VAT: £325 million
• Lot 5: Main Contractor Framework – London under £20 Million: Value excluding VAT: £500 million
• Lot 6: Main Contractor Framework – London above £20 Million: Value excluding VAT: £700
• Lot 7: Main Contractor Framework – All Regions above £50 Million: Value excluding VAT: £700 million
