Kent-headquartered steel bridge specialist, Nusteel Structures Limited, has become an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
The company was originally founded by Robert Benson, a WWII Royal Engineer Veteran, and in 1954 was incorporated as a family-owned limited company.
Nusteel provides manufacturing and installation solutions, from the smallest single-span bridges to the largest road and rail infrastructure projects.
The current board of directors will remain in place and will have full control of strategy and business decisions.
Kevin Kelleher is the managing director, while Ralph Cooke is director of operations.
“We are delighted to announce […] Nusteel Structures has become an Employee Ownership Trust,” said Nusteel.
“We believe this next stage in our progression as a steel fabricator entirely aligns with our company ethos of innovation and excellence.
“We believe we are well-placed and equipped to continue to work with all of our partners and supply chain on socially responsible sustainable projects that demonstrate our company’s high standards in Quality, Innovation and Design.”
Adding: “We would like to sincerely thank all our colleagues, clients, and supply chain members for their contribution towards making Nusteel the success story it has become.”
Nusteel Structures Limited is one of the leading suppliers of steel bridges, gantries, and complex structures to the UK construction industry.
Major clients include Balfour Beatty and National Highways.
