Civil engineering and piling specialist, Dawson Wam, has recorded increased revenue and profits in its latest financial statement.

Turnover for the year ended 31 December 2023 was £52.6 million, ahead of £46.3 million achieved in the previous financial period, generating a pre-tax profit of £8.9 million (FY2022: £4.4 million).
“The company regards a close working relationship with key customers and suppliers as central to its continued success and will work to expand these relationships to ensure the onward growth of the business,” said Dawson Wam.
Adding: “The directors are committed to retaining high-quality employees across all areas of the business and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across all its sites and locations.”
Dawson Wam has offices throughout the UK including in Northern Ireland, as well as in Ireland and Scotland.
The contractor, headquartered in Greenfield, Bedfordshire, reported growth in operating profit last year, to £9.1 million, well ahead of the £4.6 million recorded in the prior financial period.
At the year end, Dawson Wam’s balance sheet had net assets worth £19.2 million, building on the £11.7 million recorded the year before, with healthy cash reserves too of £6.4 million (FY2022: £4.5 million).
The business posted profit for the year of £7.7 million, compared to £3.2 million delivered the year prior.
