Housebuilding company Keepmoat has announced the appointment of a new regional managing director for the East Midlands.
Adam Sharpe joins the business having previously worked as managing director of Vistry South West Midlands.
He brings with him a wealth of experience, working in the construction industry for the last 18 years.
Sharpe has worked on major construction and residential developments across the UK and internationally including in Australia, Canada and Dubai.
He joined Vistry as land and partnerships director six years ago where he successfully grew the regions’ landbank, before being subsequently promoted to MD of its South West Midlands division.
“We are delighted to welcome Adam Sharpe to the business as regional managing director for the East Midlands region,” the company posted on social media.
“Adam brings with him a wealth of experience, working in the construction industry for the last 18 years. Welcome to the business, Adam.”
Keepmoat recently delivered a resilient set of financial results after a challenging trading period.
Revenue increased by more than 11 per cent in the year to 31 October 2023, to £864.6 million, compared to £778.1 million in the prior period, generating a pre-tax profit of £83.2 million (FY2022: £92.2 million).
The home builder also posted adjusted EBITDA earnings of £101.4 million, an 11.3 per cent decrease on earning in FY2022.
Keepmoat saw a nearly 8 per cent increase in homes sold in the period, posting a total of 4,074, compared to 3,776 the year before.
