£1bn RSK Group announces latest acquisition

RSK Group recently announced the acquisition of a London-headquartered property consultant specialising in rights of light and planning issues of daylight and sunlight, for an undisclosed sum.

The 30-strong team at eb7 includes chartered surveyors, lawyers, industry experts, interior architects, surveyors and architectural visualisers, catering to such industry clients as:  

  • Berkeley Homes  
  • Canary Wharf Group  
  • Legal & General 
  • Savills 
  • Bellway 
  • Redrow 
  • CBRE 
  • abrdn 

eb7’s work includes environmental impact assessments, overshadowing issues, renewable energy, neighbourly matters, party walls, computer-generated imagery (CGI), visualisation and virtual reality. 

Recent projects by the firm have included Leven Road Gasworks with architect JTP and client St William; The Atlas Building for architect Make and client Rocket Investments; and 22 Bishopsgate with architect PLP and client Arab Investments.

RSK provides end-to-end environmental consulting and engineering services across the water, energy, construction, and infrastructure sectors.  

Founded in 1989, the group now comprises more than 200 companies, employing 15,000 people worldwide, and is on track to deliver £5 billion in turnover by 2030 

This latest deal comes not long after RSK managed to top £1 billion in turnover for the first time, and completed around 34 acquisitions last year alone.
