Housebuilder The Hill Group has announced its new managing director of Special Projects.
Cain Peters will now lead a division of more than 100 employees, with a projected turnover of £300 million for the current financial year.
Peters has been instrumental in Hill’s success, particularly in managing large, high-density construction projects and key joint ventures.
The group recently declared record-breaking revenues, posting pre-tax profits of £70.1 million from turnover of £1.14 billion for the 15-month period to 31 March 2024.
Peters’ promotion is the culmination of a 17-year career at Hill, starting out at the company as a site manager.
He said: “I am passionate about Hill and proud to have been a part of the company’s success over the past 17 years.
“I look forward to leading the Special Projects division and contributing to the company’s future achievements and planned period of growth.”
Hill’s controlled pipeline now represents £10 billion of potential future revenues, up from £6.7 billion in 2022.
A total of 2,886 new homes were delivered in the period, with expansion to the company’s development pipeline, which now stands at 12,900 homes with detailed or outline planning permission, from an overall development pipeline of 27,000 units.
Net assets are up 14 per cent to £368.9 million, with net cash reserves closing at £86.4 million on 31 March, net of borrowings.
