Finzels Reach, a collaboration between developer Cubex, funder Fiera Real Estate, and global property advisor JLL, is now open.

The scheme includes three separate projects and £5 million of public realm.

The Halo development consists of 116,000 sq. ft of grade A, sustainable office spaces and is home to law firm Osborne Clarke and Deloitte.

Halo is one of the UK’s most sustainable offices, becoming the first outside London to achieve BREEAM Outstanding upon completion.

Millwright Place includes 231 build-to-rent apartments designed with socialising and community events in mind, featuring rooftop terraces, shared entertainment spaces, and cycle storage and maintenance facilities.

This £63 million project aims to foster a sense of community.

Finzels Reach also features Coopers Court, a 10-storey building with 66 affordable homes, including social rented and shared ownership properties.

The collaboration continues with JLL delivering Cubex’s latest acquisition, a purpose-built student accommodation scheme on a brownfield site in the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone in the city centre.

This site is less than a three-minute walk from the University of Bristol’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus and will have a gross domestic value above £100 million.

The project, designed with market-leading sustainability credentials including BREEAM Outstanding, EPC A, and a Wired Score Platinum, will use low carbon materials and be heated via the UK’s largest water source heat pump.

William Tomlinson, development director at Cubex, said: “The collaborative approach at Finzels Reach has resulted in a remarkable new neighborhood that will benefit Bristol for years.

“We are excited to continue working with JLL in the living sector to deliver a top-tier, sustainable development for Bristol.

“The quality of each project, along with their sustainability credentials and high-caliber commercial clients, ensures Bristol remains the South West’s prime place to work and live.

“Our collaboration with JLL demonstrates that city center mixed-use schemes can be sustainable, attractive, and something locals can be proud of.”

Stuart Brown, director of project management at JLL, said: “Finzels Reach has been a decade-long project to bring to life a modern, sustainable scheme that Bristol has needed for years.

“We’re proud of the work the JLL team has done and look forward to seeing it serve as a hub for wider growth in the city.”
