
Turnover for the year ended 31 December 2023 increased by more than 72 per cent to £298.6 million compared to £173 million in the previous financial period, generating a pre-tax profit of £5.8 million (FY2022: £3 million).
“Strong work-winning activity in 2022 continued in 2023 and the business now has a forward order book totalling £721 million (FY2022: £744 million”, said the company.
The Wates-owned M&E specialist delivered gross profit of £22.7 million (FY2022: £18.6 million) and operating profit of nearly £5 million (FY2022: £3 million).
Profit for the year for the building services business was nearly £4 million, compared to £2.5 million the year before.
Its cash position was reported at £11.1 million (FY2022: £9.8 million), while net assets were valued at £8.1 million (FY2022: £4.1 million).
