Galliford Try Telecoms £50m Vodafone deal

The firm will deliver the contract across a seven-year programme.

Galliford Try continues branching into the telecommunications and defence sectors with its ongoing partnership with Vodafone. 

In 2022, the firm delivered the UK’s first-ever renewable-powered mobile phone mast at Eglwyswen in Pembrokeshire.

The project was on behalf of Vodafone and mobile infrastructure provider, Cornerstone. 

Full Scope 

Since the beginning of the year, Galliford has secured several high-profile contracts, including:

  • A £95 million contract from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to build a new custodial facility at HMP Rye Hill.
  • A £13.9 million contract to redevelop a market site in North Lincolnshire, delivering a residential building for NHS staff and office space. 
  • A £100 million dual carriageway expansion near Peterborough. 
  • A £140 million contract to design and build the Carlisle Southern Link Road (CSLR) with work to start this June. 

On the recent telecoms win, Andy Duggins, managing director for Galliford Try Telecoms, said:
