‘We were impressed with the quality of SPIE UK’s submission’

Technical engineering solutions provider SPIE UK has secured a major maintenance contract with the largest leisure Trust in Scotland.
Edinburgh Leisure appointed the firm’s Fire and Security business to a three-year contract, following a competitive tender process.
Edinburgh Leisure supports more than five million customers across 29 venues, including the European International Climbing Arena and the Royal Commonwealth Pool.
Under the new deal, SPIE, a division of Imtech Group, will carry out routine maintenance of fire, alarm, and CCTV systems across all sites, ensuring all equipment meets the highest safety and security standards.
The contract also represents a new customer for SPIE – a significant win for the Group.
“We were impressed with the quality of SPIE UK’s submission, which demonstrated their expertise in fire and security systems,” said Mark Tunnicliff, procurement manager at Edinburgh Leisure.
“We look forward to working with SPIE UK to ensure that our facilities are safe and secure for all our users.”
The firm was also recently named a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Security Services framework, delivering physical, technical and support services across a 42-month commercial agreement.
