McGoff adds £50m scheme to BTR portfolio

McGoff Construction has started work on the Group’s latest BTR residential development in Manchester, valued at £50 million.  

Downtown Victoria North, on Rochdale Road, was previously Rochdale Road Gas Works and home to other industries.  

Following extensive ground investigations and preparations, including archaeological test pits, demolition of all buildings will now take place.  

Part of Manchester City Council’s Victoria North Strategic Regeneration Framework, the development will see 237 apartments and duplexes built, some with garages.

Downtown Asset Management will maintain ownership and manage lettings.  

The project should take 145 weeks to complete.
