Winvic finds greater success in the logistics sector with on-going partners, St. Modwen Logistics.

The firm will now deliver a further five warehouse facilities adjacent to the A52, in Derby

Construction is expected to be completed by early 2024

St. Modwen announced that it is investing £59 million to develop 350,000 sq ft of new warehouse space.

This comes after the £45 million invested in St Modwen Park Derby Phase one, where Winvic also delivered four industrial warehouses.

Inside the deal

In Phase Two all five facilities will be constructed simultaneously, with sectional completions and early access.

The plateaus and formation of the bellmouth entrances and footpaths have been in construction since Phase One.

CMC piling operations begin in two weeks and the nine-week driven piling programme, which includes 2,500 piles, will begin in mid-June.

The firm will erect all five steel frames within 18 weeks starting from June.

“We have built an outstanding relationship with the St. Modwen Logistics team in delivering the civils and infrastructure package and the four industrial units at Derby – as well assets across other sites – and we’re delighted to have secured the contract for Phase one,” said Danny Nelson, Winvic’s head of industrial, distribution and logistics
