Winvic Construction has broken ground on ‘the largest logistics facility in Yorkshire’.
The firm is the main contractor for Panattoni Doncaster 420, on behalf of real estate company Panattoni.
Planning consent was granted in February.
The 417,570 sq ft logistics depot will be built off Junction 3 of the M18, the M1, A1(M) and M62, with access to the ports of Hull, Immingham and Liverpool.
It comprises 37 loading doors, and an 85m yard with parking for 74 HGVs and 358 parking spaces.
Sustainability
The facility will be net zero and have a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ and ‘A’ EPC standard.
Twenty per cent of parking spaces will have EV charge points.
