Inside the deal: The firm’s Building London South East and Commercial business has been appointed to the Build-to-Rent (BTR) scheme in Brent Cross by joint venture (JV) Related Argent and Invesco Real Estate.

Funded by ICG Real Estate, the project is part of a 180-acre Brent Cross Town regeneration scheme, a major expansion for nearly 7,000 homes, 3 million sq ft of offices, a high street, schools and 50 acres of parks, led by Barnet Council and Related Argent.

Galliford will create 249 homes for private rent across three new blocks, plus amenity space.

The firm also delivered another regeneration scheme for Related Argent in Tottenham Hale last year.

“The private rental and wider residential sectors are an integral part of our Sustainable Growth Strategy, particularly when we have the opportunity to work with respected repeat clients like Related Argent and Invesco Real Estate,” said Bill Hocking, chief executive of Galliford Try.

“We look forward to continuing our collaboration with them and all the stakeholders involved to produce more high-quality apartments for the local community.”
