The firm has started construction of the new E-7 Wedgetail facilities at RAF Lossiemouth, in partnership with Boeing.
The Boeing E-7 aircraft is the most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform in the world.
It can locate and track multiple airborne, maritime and surface targets at once, to improve situational awareness and direct assets such as fighter jets and warships.
The new facility will be built alongside, and support, the Atlantic Building at Lossiemouth, a £100 million joint venture by Boeing and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) where the UK’s fleet of nine P-8A Poseidon aircraft is based.
More than 125 workers will be on site, while seven apprentice and trainee placements in construction management, engineering, surveying and administration will also be created.
Five Scotland-based suppliers are currently supporting the scheme.
The E-7 technical infrastructure programme is expected to complete in 2025.
