The firm will act as the delivery partner for three lots on Heathrow’s H7 Framework.
The Security Programme in the framework covers all four terminals.
The Asset Replacement Programme covers Terminals 3, 4 and 5, including a new virtual control tower.
Mace has partnered with Heathrow for more than 30 years on around 400 projects.
Sustainability
Mace has committed to cut embodied carbon at Heathrow by 40% by 2026.
It will also deliver five circular economy innovations a year and commit to 100% clean technology (including zero diesel on site) by Q2 2023.
Offsite manufacturing and the use of digital project tools and data sharing will play a major role in delivery of these projects.
“We are honoured to have been appointed to the H7 Framework, meaning we will continue to support Heathrow over the next half-decade as they rebuild from the pandemic, transition to a carbon neutral aviation hub, and give passengers a world-leading airport service,” said Nigel Cole, managing director for aviation, Mace Construct.
