Bowmer & Kirkland has completed a £45 million MMC factory for Oregon Timber Frame, it has been reported.
by Rory Butler / March 8, 2023
The 186,000 sq ft facility is at Infinity Park Derby (IPD), a new 100-acre business park south of the city, dubbed the “future of manufacturing and logistics”.
Oregon will relocate to IPD from its current base in Burton-on-Trent, wrote Insider Media.
The new facility will support Barratt Developments’ move to modern methods of construction (MMC), after it bought Oregon in 2019, it added.
Up to 200 additional jobs will result.
IPD is next to the global HQ of Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace (one of its backers) and minutes from blue-chip firms like Alstom and JCB.
