RSK Group acquires sixth company in two months

RSK Group has acquired another company – its sixth in just under two months.

It has just acquired technical facilities management and energy solutions firm Richard Irvin FM. 

Just prior to that, RSK acquired temporary site service company WysePower, market research agency BMG Research, marine geoscience consultancy Hydrofix, tree and vegetation management firm Treefellers Ltd, and mineral exploration and ground investigation contractor Irish Drilling Limited.     

Richard Irvin FM has a 230-strong team of engineers, operations staff, PMs and compliance specialists, and offices across Scotland and the north of England. 

Its clients include Total and BP, the MoD, half a dozen Scottish councils, as well as housing associations and national facilities management firms. 

The business maintains and repairs more than 62,000 UK commercial and domestic properties with a full scope of energy services. 

Its annual turnover is more than £25 million.   

Chief executive officer, Mark Buchan, will continue to lead the business. 

RSK, a construction and engineering company based in Helsby, now comprises more than 175 companies, employing around 11,000 people and growing.    

Its annual turnover at the end of FY22 was £796 million.
