Inside the deal: Arden Cross is a major mixed-use commercial and residential destination in the Midlands, where the new HS2 Interchange station is under construction.
Muse, the development business of Morgan Sindall, was appointed to the 346-acre scheme by consortium Arden Cross Limited in November last year.
Arden Cross Limited is a special purpose delivery vehicle created by landowners Birmingham City Council, Packington Estate and Coleshill Estate.
Masterplan
It is understood Studio Egret West’s masterplan will supersede Weston Williamson & Partners’.
West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has reportedly committed £57 million to the scheme’s wider infrastructure to date.
However, earlier reports suggest more than £800 million of investment has been committed to the Arden Cross site overall.
