Willmott Dixon £61m all-through school in Warwickshire

Willmott Dixon has started delivery of a £61 million school in Warwickshire.

The firm was appointed to The Oakley Grove School in Leamington Spa by Warwickshire County Council (WCC), via the Scape construction framework.  

The all-through facility will comprise a 34-place nursery, 420-place primary and 900-place secondary school, with SEND provision. 

A new sports hall, several natural turf pitches and an all-weather pitch, designed to Sport England standards, will be created. 

Nearby Oakley Wood Road will also see upgrades. 

The school is part of a wider development across the local area, comprising more than 4,000 new homes and a country park.   

Social value   

Up to £1.5 million will be invested locally in careers talks, work experience, traineeships and job opportunities. 

The new school will be completed in summer 2024.
