Four major firms will deliver up to £9 billion’ worth of renewals for a rail company under a new partnership.

The Southern Integrated Delivery (SID) alliance by Network Rail covers its Southern Region’s renewals portfolio for the next ten years.
It seeks to transform how renewals work is delivered by merging the capabilities of Network Rail and its supply chain to develop an integrated and coordinated approach.
The SID will make best use of resources, maximise efficiencies and be collectively incentivised to deliver value for passengers, freight and railway funders.
It is the result of a cross-industry consultation over the last two-and-a-half years.
