Octavius Infrastructure will deliver a near £7 million package of works at Clophill roundabout in Bedfordshire.
by Rory Butler / February 21, 2023
The firm was appointed to the scheme after Central Bedfordshire Council acquired Levelling Up funding from the UK Government.
Octavius was selected via the Eastern Highways Alliance Framework 3.
The busy A6/A507 junction has long suffered from congestion.
Octavius will deliver a new layout offering greater capacity, which should reduce queuing.
Enhancements will also be made to walking and cycling routes close to the junction.
The firm recently delivered the new transport interchange hub at nearby Flitwick.
Works at Clophill will start this month and are expected to last nine months.
