Willmott Dixon to lead ‘landmark’ regeneration scheme

Willmott Dixon will deliver a “landmark” regeneration scheme in Milton Keynes which has received £36 million backing.

The firm has been appointed by Milton Keynes City Council to the Agora development in Wolverton, via Pagabo’s Major Works Framework. 

Willmott will partner with developer TOWN on the mixed-use scheme, nicknamed the “Love Wolverton” project, which will transform the former site of the disused Agora Centre. 

  • Six residential blocks 
  • 115 two- to four-storey homes 
  • Incorporated housing for over-50s  
  • Nine commercial units 
  • Community space  

Nearly a third of all homes will be affordable. 

Sustainability  

  • Smart renewable energy microgrid 
  • Car-free streets 
  • Mobility hub and car club 

Work is expected to start later this year.
