Telford Homes gets £300m for three London developments

Housebuilder Telford Homes has secured £300 million backing for three Build-to-Rent (BTR) developments across London.

Inside the deal: The schemes received forward-funding from joint venture (JV) investment firms Ridgeback Group and Angelo Gordon. 

Telford is a developer for property firm Trammell Crow Company. 

The plan: More than 750 BTR homes across three sites. 

Capital Interchange Way, Brentford 

  • JV with Catalyst by Design 
  • 223 units (197 affordable) 
  • 45,000 sq ft of commercial/retail space 
  • gym, lounge and co-work space 

Mill Road, Ilford 

  • 239 homes 
  • 4,000 sq ft of amenity space   
  • managed by Ridgeback 
  • start date: February   

Alperton Bus Garage 

  • 306 homes (155 affordable) 
  • 12,000 sq ft of external space  
  • lounge, gym and co-work areas 
  • “Alperton Yard”: 27,400 sq ft of light industrial space 

‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating throughout. And more than 60 apprentices employed.
