Plans for a major new warehouse and logistics depot in Darlington have been approved.

Developer Premcor Estates will deliver the new facility at the Fabric Darlington site on Tornado Way.
Three industrial and distribution units spanning 402,000 sq ft will be constructed on the 24-acre site, which is next to Amazon’s fulfilment and distribution centre.
British Steel, Cummins Engines, DHL and Fedex are also nearby.
New units at Fabric individually range from 84,000 to 213,000 sq ft.
Build specialists HPM will act as Project Manager and CDM Principal Designer for Premcor.

Construction is scheduled to begin end of Q2.
Premcor was approached about the construction firms appointed to the scheme.
