Mace Edenica – a ‘circular materials storage bank’

Mace has been appointed main contractor on a new office and retail scheme in Central London.

The firm has been selected by BauMont Real Estate Capital and YardNine to deliver the Edenica development at 100 Fetter Lane. 

The scheme includes the demolition of the former offices of law firm DAC Beachcroft, and the White Swan pub – however there are plans to relocate the pub to the north-east corner of the site. 

  • 12-storey development 
  • 95,000 sq ft   
  • roof gardens 
  • planted terraces   
  • new square 

The new development will target an ‘Outstanding’ BREEAM rating. 

Circular materials  

The scheme will be the first in the City of London designed as a ‘storage bank’ where materials are held for future reuse via Materials Passports – digital data sets that describe the characteristics of materials and components in products and systems.
