London housing association, Notting Hill Genesis has been given planning consent for Phase 2B of the Aylesbury regeneration scheme in Walworth.
Five architectural firms have been appointed to design the scheme’s five unique buildings, 50% of which are affordable.

Each block incorporates a different architectural practice, offering a combination of housing types: mansion blocks, higher-rise apartments, courtyard apartments, and maisonettes.
Other features of the masterplan include commercial and community space, two new public areas, and improved play and sport facilities.
The site is part of a 30-year regeneration programme for 3,500 new homes in all.
Subject to planning conditions being met, construction could begin in March.
Erith is expected to deliver site preparation and demolition works.
