The firm will deliver three interlinking buildings spanning more than 20,000 sqm, housing new teaching facilities and learning spaces.
Half of its workforce will be people from the local and surrounding area. At peak construction this means 400 people, including apprenticeships and graduates.
When finished, the campus will serve 4,500 students from Fife College, St Columba’s RC High School and Woodmill High School.
“We will remain steadfast in our commitment to positively impacting local communities and stimulating economic growth, providing numerous employment opportunities for local people as well as work experience placements for students,” said Hector MacAulay MBE, Managing Director of Balfour Beatty’s regional business in Scotland.
Construction is scheduled to commence later this month.
