The firm will partner with housing association Riverside on the regeneration of the Calverley Close estate, having received planning consent from Bromley Council.

The 10-year scheme is backed by the Greater London Authority (GLA) and will replace the current housing with higher quality homes.

Countryside was recently acquired by Vistry Group in a more than £1.1 billion takeover, putting the mega-merger on competitive footing with other Housebuilding and Partnerships Housing giants in the sector.

“The redevelopment of the Calverley Close estate is a fantastic opportunity to deliver a significant number of new, high-quality homes for local residents, creating a vastly improved neighbourhood and integrating existing and new communities,” said Ray Toft, MD of South London Countryside Partnerships.

Construction is due to begin in October.
