IKB Developments aims to construct three new properties on a currently empty plot of land next to the Floating Harbour at Temple Quay.

Plot 3, next to Temple Meads station, was earmarked six years ago for a huge conference centre. That scheme has since moved to Temple Island.

  • 234-room hotel (8 storeys)
  • 168-room extended stay aparthotel (7 storeys)
  • 108 Build-to-Rent apartments (11 storeys; 20% affordable)

Ground floor commercial space will host new retail and restaurant chains and have a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.

A new public space and ecological zone will also be created.

The site, owned by Homes England, has been vacant for approximately 30 years, according to planning documents.
