Kier’s £75m housing repairs deal – 10,000 homes

Housing association RHP Group has awarded Kier Places a £75 million maintenance contract over ten years.

The firm will deliver repairs, voids and planned works across a 10,000-home portfolio in the boroughs of Richmond, Hounslow, Kingston and Hillingdon. 

Kier will also install new kitchens and bathrooms and make properties more energy efficient. 

Social value 

Employment and skills opportunities, including apprenticeships, will be available to the local community.  

Local supply chain partners will also be used. 

“A firm focus on quality, building safety, and community engagement underpins everything we do at Kier Places, and we’ll use our extensive experience of working safely in people’s homes while also minimising disruption for residents,” said Iain Roy, operations director at Kier Places. 

Works commence June 2023.
