Hanson lands deal on £1.3b highways framework

Hanson Contracting has been selected as one of the firms to deliver £1.3 billion-worth of road maintenance for National Highways over the next five years.

The firm secured a deal in the Central and Southern Super Regions as part of National Highways’ Pavement Framework, now in its third issue. 

Areas 

  • 1 & 2 – Southwest 
  • 3 & 4 – Southeast 
  • 6 & 8 – East 
  • 7 & 9 – Midlands 

Due to National Highways’ focus on carbon reduction, Hanson will favour a warm mix asphalt material.
