Algeco modular announces ‘strategic’ expansion

Modular firm Algeco is acquiring construction storage company Mobile Mini UK.

Algeco parent company, Modulaire Group said the buy will bolster its market position – and give customers more site accommodation and storage solutions. 

Mobile Mini UK is a leading container solutions supplier to construction, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and education sectors.

  • More than 42,000 units 

Together Algeco (formally Elliott Group) and Mobile Mini UK will create the UK’s largest accommodation hire fleet with 82,000 units. 

“Mobile Mini is a strong, strategic fit for Algeco and the combination of the two companies will drive significant value for both customers and stakeholders,” said Mark Higson, Group Chief Executive Officer of Modulaire Group.  

“It will help us further deliver the Algeco vision to be the market leader in modular and temporary accommodation, operating as a trusted solutions adviser to customers.”
