New £250m Manchester tower – the client team

Developers Dominvs Group and Whitbread have lodged plans for a £250 million office and student scheme in Manchester.

The joint venture (JV) at One Medlock Street in the city will form part of Manchester’s Southern Gateway. 

Inside the deal: An existing five-storey Premier Inn hotel at the site will be demolished. 

Jon Matthews Architects proposes a 14-storey office building (280,000 sq ft), and a split-height student residential building for more than 1,000 persons in a 37-storey tower, stepping down to 11 storeys (332,425 sq ft overall).

This is the third time Dominvs and Whitbread have joined forces.
