McLaren Construction Group has won a 660,000 sq ft logistics warehousing project, in North Yorkshire.

Investor and developer, Firethorn Trust appointed the firm to the Sherburn42 scheme in a first-time venture for the pair.
The 37-acre site lies next to the Sherburn Enterprise Park, in Leeds.
- Four units, ranging 57,750 to 280,000 sq ft
- Built to net-zero carbon
- ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating
- Renewable power generation
Project completion is set for Q4 2023.
“Having received full planning consent last month, we look forward to moving this project forward with McLaren and beginning works on site imminently,” said Paul Martin, development director at Firethorn.
“Providing fantastic opportunities for the region’s workforce, the four high-quality Grade-A industrial units will create an attractive, fit-for-purpose, sustainable workspace for multi-national distributors and ambitious small and medium-sized enterprises,” added Gary Cramp, managing director of McLaren Construction (Midlands & North).
