Ocubis will manage delivery of the new structures at the 36-46 Albert Embankment site, owned by engineering company, Hotchkiss Group.
The new hotels will operate as separate entities, stand at 26 and 29 storeys high and be linked by a five-storey podium building.
The new builds, approve by Lambeth Council, will boast close to 900 bedrooms overall.
A Texaco station and Victorian-era warehouse currently occupy the site – the latter of which will be revamped and extended with two office floors in phase one of the project.
On the job:
- Hopkins Architects
- Clarke Nicholls Marcel
- Core Five
There have been previous attempts to redevelop the site, including a flats scheme later replaced by a smaller hotel plan.
