Muse Secures Landmark Development Deal worth £3.2b

Muse has secured a landmark development deal with consortium Arden CrossLimited valued at £3.2 billion.

Inside the deal: Arden Cross, a 140 Ha mixed-use commercial and residential destination in the Midlands, will be developed where the new HS2 Interchange station is already under construction, promising up to 27,000 new jobs. 

Arden Cross Limited is a special purpose delivery vehicle created by landowners Birmingham City Council, Packington Estate and Coleshill Estate. 

Muse was selected after a more than 12-month procurement process, as the firm “demonstrated a clear understanding of the principles of sustainability and connectivity at the heart of the scheme”. 

What next? 

  • Delivery of 3,000 new homes 
  • 6 million sq ft of employment space  
  • A new Medical & Technology Campus  
  • First-phase development as early as 2025

More than £800 million of investment has already been committed to the Arden Cross site.
